5 Things I'm Thankful For

Hi there! I'm taking a page out of Holly's book today to list five things I'm thankful for this Friday!

1. My New Job - I have never felt so welcomed at a job before. All I've heard all week from everyone is how excited my team is to have me...even from people who aren't on my team. My new Director even brought cupcakes to our staff meeting to celebrate my first week. I know it's early, but things are off to an incredible start.

2. Yoga - I've done yoga in my living room the last too much and I've forgotten how incredible it is to just breathe. Two years ago, I was regularly practicing yoga and I hate that I stopped. It was more because of money than anything, but this year, I'm recommitting.

I can't do this anymore...but I will!
3. Flight Benefits - I'm really fortunate that I have flight benefits from The Pilot. This week, because of some changes happening with The Pilot's job (good changes!) and because of the uncertainties of flying standby in the middle of the winter, I had to book a flight. The simple experience of purchasing air travel has never been so complicated and it was insanely frustrating. In the end, I got my flights and I'm excited to take off somewhere fun soon!

4. Three Day Weekends - Starting a new job the week before a long weekend is awesome. I'm so excited to have the weekend to unwind. Most of my week was filled with HR stuff, and I didn't really dive into things related to my position until today. I'm excited to come back after the long weekend and really hit the ground running!

5. Our Marriage - Marriage is pretty awesome. It's a whole new adventure and I love it.

That's what I've got for you.
What are you thankful for this week?
Happy Friday!

  1. Marriage really is the best. I love it and just feel so happy to have my husband. Not a bf, not a live in bf or fiancé, my HUSBAND!

I need to recommit to yoga, too! Glad the new job is going great!

  2. Three day weekends rock. I am having a good year with my job. It's not a new one but it really changes according to the kids.

  4. I love all of the things that you're thankful for! You re super lucky to have the flight situation that you do (minus the standby part)--where are you heading off to soon? And to have a hubby who you love and adore?? Even more amazing things to love! Hope you're enjoying the 3-day weekend to its fullest!!
