Hi! I'm Christy.
Welcome to Planes, Trains and Running Shoes!
I'm a 20-something living in Washington, DC who is positively addicted to running, plane rides, traveling and baseball.
I started my blog in 2010 as a way to document my list of 25 things to do before I turned 25. Some of those goals were personal, some were professional and others were just plain fun! I fell in love with blogging and the blogging community so when I turned 25, I decided to update my blog to keep track of my interests, hobbies, running and life, in general!
I'm a runner. I started running right around the time I started this blog and have since run several half marathons, 5(!) marathons and a number of other races.
I love to travel. I have an incredible knack for spontaneity and will never shy away from dropping all plans to take off somewhere with my pilot boyfriend...or on my own.
When I'm not blogging, running or jetsetting, you can find me stuffing my face with Nutella, listening to the latest country music jams, trying out new recipes, or planning my next adventure. I always have a suitcase packed and my passport handy...just in case.
Life is an adventure. There's a big world out there and I plan to explore as much of it as I possibly can Whether I do so by planes, trains or my running shoes, is what will make it that much more of an adventure!

I love love your blog. I'm putting together a huge giveaway in conjunction with a novel about a runner. I'd love to have your blog involved in it. I tried to find an email address to send you more info but couldn't find one. Please email me at bubcoats@hotmail.com
